During the fifth national congress of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM), Fatima-Ezzahra Mansouri was chosen to lead the new collective General Directorate of the party.
Mansouri replaces Abdellatif Ouahbi, who opted not to run for a second term. The collective leadership also includes Salaheddine Abou El Ghali and Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid.
Fatima Ezzahra Mansouri, the current president of the Marrakech City Council and minister of National Territorial Planning, Urbanism, Housing, and City Policy, highlighted that the new general secretariat is collective with its own specificities. She aims to put the PAM back on track by relying on the trust of the party members.
Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, a member of the political bureau of the PAM and minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication, as well as Salaheddine Abou El Ghali, the party's regional coordinator in Casablanca and president of the Médiouna Commune, have also been included in the collective leadership.
It's worth noting that Abdellatif Ouahbi, the outgoing general secretary of the PAM, announced that he wouldn't seek a second term during the opening of the congress. Additionally, Najwa Koukouss was elected president of the National Council of the party during this event.
