White House Mounts Defense as Special Prosecutor's Report Sparks Controversy Over Biden's Memory"L

In response to the recent special prosecutor's report on classified documents related to Joe Biden, the White House engages in a robust counter-attack, strongly contesting the findings and emphasizing the lack of grounds for prosecution. Spokespersons insist that Special Prosecutor Robert Hur found no legal basis to pursue charges against the president, stating that this is the key point to focus on.

However, the focus on the president's purported memory issues, as outlined in the report, triggers intense reactions. The special prosecutor describes Joe Biden as an amiable man but one suffering from memory problems. Vice President Kamala Harris characterizes the prosecutor's comments as gratuitous, inaccurate, inappropriate, and possibly politically motivated, noting that Hur was appointed by former President Donald Trump.

Democratic Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania, a pivotal state for upcoming elections, criticizes the operation as an attempt to tarnish Biden orchestrated by a prosecutor appointed by Trump. However, not all Democrats risk criticizing the report, mindful of the politically sensitive terrain. Donald Trump, indicted four times criminally, continues to claim the justice system is being used against him.

Regarding Biden's memory, the White House spokesperson, while admitting not being a medical professional, asserts daily observation of its proper functioning. She highlights that Biden has always had a tendency to mix up names and countries, but this doesn't hinder his effective performance of duties. Karine Jean-Pierre, White House spokesperson, also speaks on a personal level, emphasizing her long-standing relationship with Biden since 2009.

Despite being in his eighties, Biden is aware that his age raises questions among voters. His entourage attempts to downplay the issue by pointing out that he regularly jokes about it. In summary, the White House seeks to counter criticisms, denouncing the report as politically motivated and defending Biden's ability to effectively carry out his duties despite his age.
